Hi youall or should I say YALL . This past weekend I had the pleasure of riding out to INDY. with Comd. BOB ,Brian, and past NATIONAL COMMANDER Michael Deacon. We arrived at the hotel got registered . then I went to Child Welfare Foundation. meeting . There I found out that we the sons. were only 33,000 dollars away from the 5 million dollar mark. That’s quite a accomplishment don’t you think.  The next day opening session then recess to go to all the different meetings and stuff. I went to commander school wow a lot of information. At about 2:00 p.m. we reconvened to listen to a guest speaker. He is a top official of F.E.M.A. . He said it all when he asked ARE YOU PREPARED. Then our meeting resumed starting with donations for C.W.F. and N.E.F. . We found out Sunday morning that turn in for C.W.F. was 11,000 dollars.  since I have learned that 18 grants were approved totaling 506,683 dollars. Isn’t this grand that we as sons help to raise money to help children . Also the C.W.F. is continuing the 100% banner. This year’s goal is to raise 400,000 dollars . This is about $1.16 per member . To para phrase Larry the cable guy. Getter done!!!!! There were six resolutions pasted . If you want to look at it I have a copy of the reports . That Commander concludes my report.
